Terms and Conditions – Misk Quran Academy
These terms explain how classes, payments, and policies work at Misk Quran Academy, so every family knows exactly what to expect before and after enrolling.
Free Trial Class
Your first class with us is completely free, with no obligations whatsoever. There is no credit card required and no automatic enrollment after the trial. During this session, you and your child will meet your assigned teacher, get a feel for their teaching style, and see how our one-to-one online classroom works. After the trial, you’re welcome to decide whether you’d like to continue with regular classes based on how the experience went for you and your family, with zero pressure either way.
Payment Policy
Monthly fees are due at the start of each billing cycle, before that month’s classes begin. If payment isn’t received by the 7th of the month, classes will be paused until the balance is settled, so your child’s learning schedule isn’t interrupted for long. Payments are made through simple, secure online payment methods. If you’re facing any difficulty making a payment on time, please reach out to us right away via WhatsApp or email so we can work something out together, we’d always rather find a solution than pause a student’s progress.
Refund Policy
You may request to stop your classes at any point during the month, no long-term contract is required. Misk Quran Academy will refund the value of any classes that have already been paid for but not yet delivered, calculated based on your plan’s per-class rate. Refund requests can be made by contacting our team via WhatsApp or through our Contact page.
Attendance Policy
Teachers and students are expected to be present in the virtual classroom at least 2 minutes before the scheduled start time, so the class can begin on time. If a teacher or student is unavoidably late due to an emergency, this should be communicated as soon as possible by contacting our support team. If a student misses a class without prior notice or a genuine emergency, the teacher may end the session early and is not required to schedule a make-up class for that missed time. If a teacher misses a class without prior notice or a genuine emergency, they are responsible for arranging a make-up session for the student, and repeated occurrences may be reflected in their internal performance review.
Quality Control
To maintain the high standard of teaching our students deserve, some sessions may occasionally be observed by our quality assurance team or recorded for internal training and evaluation purposes only, never for public use. We also carry out regular teacher assessments and gather student and parent feedback on an ongoing basis, so we can continuously improve the curriculum, teaching methods, and overall learning experience across the academy.
Teacher Assignment for Students Over 13
Out of respect for our students’ comfort and in line with Islamic etiquette, male students aged 13 and above are paired with male teachers, and female students aged 13 and above are paired with female teachers. For students under 13, parents are welcome to request either a male or female teacher based on their family’s preference, and we’ll always do our best to accommodate that request when assigning or reassigning a teacher.
Public Holidays
As a Muslim academy, we observe the two Eids: Eid al-Fitr and Eid al-Adha. Classes falling on these holiday periods will be rescheduled rather than cancelled, and teachers will coordinate directly with students and parents to make up any missed sessions afterward, so no paid class time is lost due to the holiday.
Privacy Policy
Misk Quran Academy takes the privacy of both our teachers and students seriously. All personal information shared with us, including contact details and any information exchanged during class scheduling or support conversations, is treated as strictly confidential and will never be shared, copied, or used without proper authorization. This information is used solely to run your classes, manage billing, and communicate with you about your account.
